Rice rava-1 cup
Moong dal-1/4 cup
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Red chillis-5 to 6 nos (break into two pieces)
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Salt to taste
First clean the corn and cut the corns by running the knife.Wash and soak the moong dal for 30 minutes.
Heat the pan add oil.When oil is hot add jeera,mustard seeds and let them splutter and now add red chillis,hing,curry leaves.
Now soaked moong dal add to the pan and fry 3 minutes.
Now add 2 cups water and salt to it.Let it boil.
When water is boiling add corn and coconut and let it boil for 2 minutes.
Now add the rice rawa to the boiling water and stir continuously.
After becoming thick paste,add some oil and mix thoroughly and cover the lid and let it cook for low flame for about 20 to 30 minutes until the rice is cooked .Make sure to stir gently every 5 minutes.
When rice is done rice with corn upma is ready!
Serve hot with any type of pickle.
