Mutton-1.15lb(cut into small pieces)
Basmati rice-5 cups
Green chillis-5 nos
ginger-garlic paste-2 tbsp
Mint leaves- 1 bunch
Coriander leaves-1/2 bunch
Chilli powder-2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Bay leaf-4 nos
Shajeera/black cumin seeds-1 tsp
Anasi flower-1 no
Jaji Flower-1 no
Salt to taste
Water-4 1/2 cups
First cut, clean and wash the mutton pieces.
Now marinate mutton with curd,chilli powder,turmeric powder,some mint leaves,some coriander leaves,garam masala powder,ginger-garlic paste mix well keep it aside for 4 to 5 hours.
Now take a pressure cooker and heat with 2 tsp of ghee and oil.
Then add onions and saute for 5 minutes.
Now add tomato pieces saute until the raw smell disappears.
Now add marinated mutton pieces fry for 2 minutes and add 1 cup water pressure cook the mutton for 8 to 9 whistles.
Heat oil in a pan,add 2 bay leaves,1cardamoms,1 cloves, 3 green chillis, fry for 2 minutes.Now wash the rice add the into pan.Fry for 5 minutes.
Now add rice into rice cooker and water and mutton curry ,little salt combine well.Cook biryani.
Mutton biryani is ready.Serve with raitha.
