Rice Flour-4 cups
Roasted chana dal-1/2 cup
Soaked chana dal-1/2cup
Soaked Moong dal-1/2 cup
Sesame seeds-4 tbsp
Green chillis paste-5 to 6 nos
Red chilli powder-2 to 3 tbsp(acc to ur taste)
Curry leaves- few
Salt to taste
Oil-for deep frying
Take a bowl add rice flour,roasted chana dal,sesame seeds,green chilli paste,curry leaves,ghee,little red chilli powder,salt and add enough water prepare a soft dough.
Make a small ball with the dough.Take one zip lock bag and press the balls into round shape and put a small hole in middle.
Mean while heat the oil.When oil is hot drop the chekkalu into oil.Fry on medium flame till they turn into golden colour.
When they done take them into tissue papper to observe the excess oil.
