Onion Rawa Dosa / Plain Rawa Dosa


Ingredients:-
Rice flour-1 cup
All Purpose flour-1/2 cup
Wheat Flour-1/4 cup
Rava / Sooji-1/2 cup
Onion-1 (finely chopped)
Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
Ginger-1inc pieces
Green chillis-5 nos
Coriander laves-few chopped
Salt to taste
Oil or Spray


Method:-

Plain Rawa Dosa:-

First closely grind the green chillis,ginger,cumin in mix jar.

Take a big bowl add to to it.Mix the rice flour,maida,wheat flour,sooji,salt and green chilli paste and add water to it.
The batter should be water and flowing.Keep it for 2 to 3 hours.
Heat up the skillet,make them too hot.
Stir the batter once to mix well.Start spreading the batter as shown in the picture or sprinkle the batter unevenly  and now join those dots using batter.
Run spoon full of oil or oil spray on the dosa.
Cook for 1 whole minute and when it becomes golden brown and crispy .Remove the dosa on to plate.

Onion Raw Dosa for :-

Cut the onions into finely chopped.
When tawa is super hot sprinkle some of the cut onions and now pour the batter from outwards spreading towards inside covering the onions.do not spread the batter like regular dosa.
Pour 1 tsp oil around the edge and spray the oil.Let it cook until crisp.You don't need to flip the dosa.




Enjoy with chutney and sambar.

Divya, that is lovely step by step explanation. I bookmarked it as I love rawa dosa and this is just super yummy and wow, how lovely of those other dishes. I was looking for Mysore Pak recipe and got it now and bookmarked :)
