Mamidikaya Nuvvulu Pachadi has a special place in traditional Andhra's raw cuisine.The spice from chillies and seasoning adds an extra layer of flavor.Except for seasoning,all the ingredients used in this pachadi are raw.This is a simple,yet very tasty and easy to prepare dish.This is my family's all time favorite pachadi.
Mango- 1 cup
Sesame seeds-1/2 cup
Green chillis-3 to 4 (acc to ur taste)
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp (optional)
Channa dal-1 tsp(optional)
Wash and peel the mango and cut into small pieces.
Grind mango pieces, green chillis, sesame seeds,sugar and salt together .Grind the mixture coarsely by adding little water into the paste.
Now in small pan heat oil, add mustard seeds,red chilli, dals and hing. Allow the seeds to sputter,now add the curry leaves and remove from heat.
