Wheat Flour Dosa (Godhuma Pindi Attu)

Wheat Flour-2 cups
Water-Required amount
Cumin Seeds-2 tsp
Red Chillis-3 to 4 nos (acc u r taste)
Salt to taste
Oil-2 tsp


Take a pan add 2 tsp of oil,When oil is hot add cumin seeds,when they start popping, add red chillis roast well .Then drop the seasoning into a bowl  and set aside.When it cools down.Take the red chillis crush with hands.

In a same pan add wheat flour fry for till it turns light brown color.Stir constantly to avoid burning.Keep it aside.Keep it for cools down.

Mix the wheat flour,crused red chillis ,cumin seeds and salt in a bowl.Add water and mix the batter without any lumps.The consistency of batter should be like not too watery or not too tight.

Heat the dosa tava,When the tava is hot,start spreading the batter as shown in the picture to fill the whole tawa.Spread 1 tsp oil on the dosa.

Cook till it is crisp and golden in color.Remove and serve hot.

Another delicious recipe from you..I too make this but I'l add rice flour to make it crisp..you didn't add rice flour yet they look crisp..I'l try this for sure..beautiful pictures..

i tried cooking this along with lil rice flour too..
but it takes looooong time to cook.. I couldnt get it thin..slight thick thatsall..
n cooks like chappathi..plz help



i think u didn't fry properly.mix like not to thick or not thin the batter should be medium.when u fry the flour .flour should be cool down after u mix with water.try again...let me know. thank u ...


i am between jobs and so i was a little bored, tried the DOSA and it really came out GOOD
