Butterfly Shrimp


Ingredients:-

Shrimp/Prawns-10 nos
Egg-1 no
Cornflour-2 tbsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Gingergarlic paste-1/2 tsp
Soy sauce-2 tsp
Pepper powder-3/4 tsp
Bread crumbs-1/2 cup
Oil-to deep fry
Salt to taste

Method-

Butterfly Shrimp:-
Shell and de-vein prawns leaving the tail intact.Wash them throughly.Begin gently cutting outer curl of shrimp.

Once a small incision has been made,turn shrimp and cut more deeply,taking care not to cut straight through.Cut from tail to tip.


With your fingers,spread open the shrimp.


Take a bowl shrimp,soy sauce,pepper powder,corn starch and salt mix well.Leave to marinate for 15 minutes.







Beat eggs lightly.Spread the breadcrumbs in a plate.


Heat oil in a pan.Pich upeach prawns by tail,dip in beaten egg and then roll in breadcrumbs so that it is well coated.







Deep fry till gloden in colour.Transfer them onto paper towels to drain out the oil.



Serve hot with ranch.
