Chinna Minapappu Vadiyalu (Urad Dal Sun Dried Chips)

Hi Friends,
Today i am sharing Vadiyalu Recipe.Vadiyalu (Vadi in hindi) are crispy fritters usually made with soaked urad dal,and grind into paste,then sundried and stored in airtight containers for 1 year.Usually my mom make these vadiyalu.When i will go India she will give me.Vadiyalu we can make so many curries.We can add with other vegtables curries also.These days,you could also find them in most of the indian grocery stores.In sote we can get moong dal vadiyalu.These will be good any curries u can put.Most of the time we can add totakura (amaranthus curry) and majiga pulusu etc..

For this recipe we need:-

Ingredients:-
Urad dal-1 cup
Salt to taste
Water-1/2 cup
Method:-

Soak the urad dal for 2 hours.
Now grind into a paste and add salt.Do not put more water.Paste should be hard.
Now take it into greased with oil to steel big plate.
Make sure small rounds balls on a plate.Vadiyalu is shown in below video.

Dry them under the hot sun for a completely dry.(it will take for 1 to 2 days for dry up ).
 Then remove from the plate store them in a airtight container for long time.Soon i will come with this curry recipes.

you need to fry it in oil and add to currys. Usually , when you put tadka/popu, add these small vadiyalu to the popu , and when they turn brown, add the vegetable and cook as usual. at the end, they will be kind of soft not very crunchy
