Andhra Special Pachi Pulusu / Raw Rasam

                                Hi friends...
                                          This is basically a raw tamarind soup.And can be prepared very easily which can be served with hot rice ,mudda pappu along with papads.

Ingredients:-

Tamarind-1 big lemon sized ball
Onion-1/2 of a big one (finely chopped)
Jaggery / Sugar- 1 tsp
 Salt to taste

Method:-


Mustard Seds-1 tsp
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Red Chilies-3 nos
Hing-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves-few
 Oil-2 tsp



Method:-


Soak tamarind in 3 cups of water along with salt.Extract the juice and discard the pulp.Add the jaggery to it mix well.

 Heat oil and add cumin seeds,mustard seeds.After they splutter add red chillies,hing and  curry leaves fry for a minutes.After its cool down crush the red chilies with fingers.Pour this seasoning over the tamarind mixture.

Add chopped onions pieces.

Let it stand for 30 minutes before serving.

Serve with hot rice.
