Tamarind-small lime size
Turmeric powder-1/ tsp
Coriander leaves-few strings
salt to taste
To Grind :-
Garlic -4 to 5 cloves
Black Pepper -1 tsp
Mustard Seeds-1 tsp
Soak tamarind for 10 minutes,extract juice and keep.
In a blender add pepper,garlic,tomato grind into coarsely.
In a big pan add the grounded mixture,turmeric powder,salt,tamarind jucie,coriander leaves,3 cup of water.Mix well and adjust the taste now.allow to boil in low heat.Boil for 10 minutes.
Heat a tsp of oil in a pan,temper with mustard,hing,red chilli and curry leaves.when they splutter add to hot rasam.cover it with a lid.
Serve with hot rice with papad.
