Eggless Black & White Chocolate Chips Cookies
Ingredients:-
Al Purpose Flour- 1 cup
Baking Soda-1/2 tsp
Baking Powder-1/4 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Butter-1/2 cup (1 stick)(unsalted)
Sugar-1/4 + 1.5 tbsp
Brown Sugar-1/4 cup +1.5 tbsp
Vanilla Extract-1/2 tsp
Flax Meal- 1 tbsp mixed with 3 tbsp water (let it stand for a few minutes before using)
White n milk chocolate chips-1 cup (as needed)
Method:-
Take 1 tbsp of Flax meal put into a bowl.Add 3 tbsp of water to it.Let it stand for few minutes .
Mix the dry ingredients all purpose flour,baking soda,baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Take white sugar,brown sugar ,vanilla extract and butter in a bowl.Beat until creamy.
Add the flax meal + water mixture and beat well.
Beat the dry ingredients in gradually.
Add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula.
Drop by tablespoonful (about 2 inches apart)into ungreased baking sheet and bake in a preheated 375 F oven for about 9-11 minutes or just until set and beginning to brown around edges and on the bottoms.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a couple of minutes before moving to the wire racks to cool completely.
Notes:-
If you are using egg, replace flax meal and baking powder with one egg.
The recipe yields chewy cookies.
I lined the baking sheet with parchment paper foe easy cleanup.
