Munakkaya Tomato Kura / Drumstick In Tomato Gravy


Ingredients:-

Munnakaya (Drumsticks)-10 nos   Frozen Packet
Onion-2 nos (Finely chopped)
Tomato -5 nos (finely Chopped)
Green Chillies-3 nos (Cut into two)
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger / Garlic paste-2 tsp
Curry Leaves-few
Corinder leaves-few
Chilli Powder-2 tsp
Garam Masal Powder-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Salt to taste


Method:-


Heat oil in a pan add green chillis,curry leaves fry till change the color.
Now add onions fry till onions become soft.Now add ginger/garlic past fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now add  tomatoes and cook till tomato become soft and mash.
Now add drumstick pieces ,salt ,turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masala powder,mix well and add 1 cup o water mix well cover and cook till drumstick become soft in side(drumstick cook it in pressure cooker for 2 wishle) and add coriander lavs mix well and remove from the heat.


Serve with rice or roti.



Note:-If you want you can cook this curry till all the water evaporates and gravy becomes thick.If you like it with thin gravy thin switch off the flame when drumstick  is cooked enough.

Pasta Biriyani (Tried and Tasted)

 Hi friends,
               I tried this recipe "pasta biryani" from 2 wonderful bloggers Malar Gandhi and Gita.They both have wonderful  blogs.Thank u for the wonderful recipe.Me and my friends are liked it very much.

          We had arranged Sri shirdi sai baba bhajan in my house with near by friends. I tried this recipe on that day and all of them liked it very much specially kids. 







Ingredients:-

Pasta-1 cup
Soya Chunks-1/2 cup
Green chillis-2 nos ( chopped )
Onion-1 small (chopped)
Tomato-1 small (pureed)
Ginger-1" (Grated)
Garlic-1 clove (minced)
Mint Leaves-few
Coriander Leaves-few
Cloves-2 nos
Cinnamon stick-1 no
Bay leaves-3 nos
Garam Masala Powder-1/4 tsp
Cheese-1/4 cup
Oil-3 tbsp



Method:-


Cook pasta as per the directions behind the box,st aside.I add salt and a spoonful oil to it while boiling.
Boil the soya chunks with enough water and salt fr about 7-10 minutes.Once it is done.Squeeze the excess water out,retain the chunks.

In a wide skillet,heat oil.
add the whole spices,add chillies,mint leaves,coriander leaves,onions,ginger/garlic fry  real good ,may be till the raw odor is gone.
Further add the tomato puree and garam masala powder.
Now add pasta and soya chunks to it.Fry over high heat,for 5 minutes and cheese.
Garnish with chopped tomatoes,cilantro laves and cheese.

Gulabjamun

Hi Friends,

     How are you all. I was busy from last 1 month with my apartment shift and having my parents here from india. I miss my blog and friend in all these weeks.  Now i have got some breathing time and  want to share one of my favorite deserts.


Ingredients:-

Ready made gulab jamun paket-1 no
Sugar-3 cups
Milk-1/2 cup
Cardamom powder-1/2 (optional)
Water-1 cup
Oil for deep frying


Method:-
Take sugar in big bowl add  water in it.Bring it to boil.When it becomes1 string consistency, add cardamom powder and of the flame.

.
Take a bowl put instant gulab jamun mix flour into it,add milk little by little mix well.
Knead gently into soft and smooth dough.
Now make the small round shape balls and smooth jamuns without cracks from the dough.
Take a pan and heat the oil on medium heat.then slowly drop into oil,fry the balls till it turns brown in a low flame.
Put the fried balls into sugar syrup.

Serve it with ice cream or plain.
