Ingredients:-
Chayote-1 no (peeled and cut in to pieces)
Oats-4 tsp (Dry roasted and powdered)
Sambar Powder-2 tsp or adjust to your taste
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Oil-4 tsp
Curry leaves-few
Salt to taste
Method:-
Dry roast oats for 3 to 4 minutes and set aside.Cool it completely then grind it to a fine powder.
Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds, mustard seeds.Once it get popped add the curry leaves and chayote.
Now add salt and sambar powder mix well.Cover with lid and cook with medium flame.With occasional stirring,wait till the chayote get cooked and roasted.
Now add the oats powder mix well.Fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Switch off the stove.
Serve as a side dish to rice or roti.
