Ingredients:-
Maida / All purpose Flour -1 and 1/2 cups
Thick Curd-1 cup
Sugar-3/4 cup or 1 cup
Baking Soda-1/2tsp
Baking Powder-1 1/4 tsp
Cooking oil-1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence-1 1/2 tsp
Milk-1 tbsp (just for brushing he top)
Method:-
Sieve maida and keep it aside.
Cream sugar and curd until sugar completely dissolves.Add baking powder,baking soda to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Leave aside for 5 minutes and you can see the bubbles appearing.Now add vanilla essence,cooking oil and mix well.
Next slowly add maida in portion at a time and blend with wet ingredients.Beat well with a whipper until creamy and thick.
Preheat over to 200 deg C for 10 mints.
Mean while grease with a butter and pour the batter to tin and keep it ready.

Bake in preheated oven at 200 degree C for 10 mins,then reduce temperature to 180 degs C degree and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes or till a fork or toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.Just brush the top of the cake with 1 tbsp milk,10 mins before the ending time to get a nice polishing glaze.

ReplyDeleteHi your cake looks moist & spongy. i just want to know which rack i have to keep my baking tray, middle or lower. bcoz every time in my cake centre parts r not baking. 180 degree cel for 35 mins baking my cake.it looks like jam , no texture. taking measurement correctly. plz reply.

ReplyDeletesorry for late reply. middle rake is best for baking.per-heat the oven for 15 minutes.then bake for 35 minutes in between u need check.i think u r measurement not right or bake more time.thank u
