Ingredients:-
Potato-1 no
Carrot-1 no
Beans-10 nos
Cauliflower-small portion
Peas-1 hand full
Onion-2 nos
Tomato-2 small sized
Ginger-garlic paste-2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves-few
Coriander leaves-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
To Seasoning:
Cardamom-1no
Clove-1 no
Cinnamon-1 inch piece
Bay leaves-2 nos
Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
To Grind:
Coconut-2 tbsp
Fennel-3/4 tsp
Khus Khus / Poppy Seeds-3/4 tsp
Cashew nuts-8 nos
Fried Gram Dal -1 tsp
Method:-
Chop the veggies to fine cubes,also chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
Grind the ingredients under the "to grind" to a smooth paste.
Heat a small pressure cooker with oil and add the cumin seeds,cardamom,cloves,bay leaves,cinnamon fry for 3 minutes.
Add the curry leaves,onions fry for 5 minutes.Now add he ginger-garlic paste and fry in low flame till the raw smell of the ginger garlic paste disappears.
Add the tomato and add the salt and fry for a minute till the tomatoes become mushy.
Add the ground paste,followed by the red chilli powder,gram masala powder and turmeric powder.
Fry in low flame fry for 5 minutes.Add the veggies and a cup of water and mix well.Check the salt.
Cook for 25minutes till all the vegetable is cooked.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve with chapathi,pooris or any rice items...
