Crispy Arbi Fry / Taro Root Fry

Ingredients:-

Arbi / Colocasia -4 nos
Rice Flour-2 tsp
Corn Flour-2 tsp
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying


Method:-


Wash and clean the taro roots.Pressure cook in enough water for  3 whistles.Once the pressure is released and cooled,Peel the skin and cut into 1 inch thick roundels  and keep aside.(any shape or size)

In a bowl add rice flour ,cor flour,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt mix well.Now add the arbi pieces  and little water mix well.

Heat oil in a pan. Put the pieces one after the other and deep fry in 2-3 batches based on the pan size until both side golden brown.Turn in between to make sure it gets cooked evenly.Remove on a kitchen paper.

Serve hot with rice with rasam or sambar.
