Ingredients:-
Mushroom - 1 packet ( 10 nos) cut into quarter
Paneer-1 1/2 cup i used homemade or outside store brought (cut into cubes)
Capsicum-1 (cut into cubes) Optional
Onion-2 Small size (chopped)
Tomato-1 nosGinger-1 inch pieces
Garlic-5 nosGreen chillies-4 to 5 nos
Bay leaves-2 nos
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 sp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Kasoori Methi-1 tsp
Coriander leaves-few
Oil-3 to 5tbsp
For Masala:-
Cashew - 1/4 cup
Poppy Seeds-2 tbsp
Cinnamon stick-1 no
Cloves-2 nos
Cardamom-1 no
Method:-
Grind the cashews,poppy seeds,cinnamon stick,cloves and cardamom into a smooth paste.Set aside.
Add chopped onions,1 tsp of oil and 2 tbsp of water in a microwave safe bowl and cook on for 10 minutes till its tender.
Cut the tomatoes into pieces add little water in a microwave safe bowl and cook till its smashed.
Now grind separately tomatoes and the onions,garlic,ginger and green chillies into a fine paste.
In a non stick pan heat 1 tsp of oil and saute he mushroom cubes for 5 minutes.Set it aside.
In a same pan add 1 tsp of oil and saute the paneer cubes fry light brown color.Set it aside.
In a same pan on medium heat add the oil add bay leaves cook for a minutes and add onion paste fry for 5 minutes.
Now add the tomato paste and cashew paste,salt and turmeric powder and cook till oil separates.Be careful as it may splutter.
Now add garam masala powder,chilli powder and salt mix well.
Add mushroom and capsicum mix well.add little water cook for 5 minutes till the mushroom are tender.
Now add paneer,kasoori methi stir well and cover and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.Stir well and check how much gravy u want and u want more gravy means u can put water either u want tick turn of the heat.Garnish with coriander leaves.Remove the bay leaves before serving.
Serve with roti,naan or rice or any type rice item.But today i am having with naan.
