Ingredients:
Mushroom -1 packet
Onion-1 no (finely chopped)
Garlic/ginger paste-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Tomato sauce-2 tsp
Soy sauce-1 tsp
Chilli sauce-1 tsp
Green chillis-2 nos (finely chopped)
Garlic -4 nos (finely chopped)
Spring Onions- 1 nos (chopped)
Capsicum-1 no (cut int chunks)
Corn flour- tbsp
Rice Flour-1 tsp
all purpose flour-1 tsp
ajinomoto-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil
Food color - 1 pinch
Coriander leaves few
Method:
Wash and clean the mushroom.Cut into 4 pieces.
Mix rice flour,corn flour,all purpose flour,salt,chilli powder,ginger/garlic paste and water to make a medium batter.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
Dip the mushroom in the batter,and drop them gently into the hot oil ,few at a time.Deep fry on medium heat until golden brown,turning frequently.
Remove them a slotted spoon and drain well on absorbent paper towels.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan,add chopped ginger /garlic ,green chillies,onions and capsicum saute until they are brown.
Add all soya sauce,tomato ketchup,chillis sauce,ajinomoto and salt to it.Fry for a 1 min.
Now add the fried mushroom pakodas and mix to uniformly coat the sauce.
Finally saute for 2 to 3 mins,add the coriander leaves and chopped spring onions and switch of the heat.Mix well.
Serve hot as a started,snack or even as a side dish.
