Ingredients:-
Fish - 1 nos (cut into pieces) (i used tilapia u can use any type fish)
Tomatoes-1 nos (cut into pieces)
Onion-1 big size (cut into chunks)
Dry Red chillies-5 to 6 nos
Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
Mustard Seeds-2 tsp
Garlic-4 to 5 nos
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Jaggery-1 tsp
Tamarind Pulp-4 to 5 tbsp
Onion-1 tbsp (chopped)
Curry leaves-few
Hing-1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Rice flour-2 tsp
Milk-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method:-
For this recipe we need to prepare the paste.Fist cut the onions and tomatoes into chunks add this into the mixie jar add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,garlic and red chillies grind to fine paste.
Now heat the pan ans add oil when oil is hot add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,hing and curry leaves fry for a minutes.Now add the chopped onions fry for 3 to 4 minutes .
Now add the grounded paste ,water and tamarind pulp,turmeric powder,jaggery and salt mix well.Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes.
when its boiling now add the fish pieces and cover cook till the fish is cooked.
Now take the rice flour mix with milk until smooth.
Slowly pour in the rice flour mixture while stirring the gravy until thickened and boil for 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve with hot rice.
Slurp,fingerlicking fish gravy,makes me hungry.
