Ingredients:-
Cabbage-1 (finely chopped)
Onions-i nos small size (finely chopped)
Channa dal- 1/4 cup (u can ad more or less)
Green Chillies-4 to 5 m=nos
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Curry leaves-few
Hing-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
OIl-3 tsp
Method:-
Finely chop the cabbage and onions into small pieces.Slit the green chilies.
Soak the channa dal in half cup water for at least 45 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pan.Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds,allow them to splutter.Now add green chillies,hing and curry leaves fry for 1 minutes and add onions fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add channa dal and cabbage ,turmeric powder,salt mix well.Saute it for 3 minutes and Cover and cook until it become cooked.
Remove the lid and fry until all the water evaporates.
Serve hot with rice or chapatis....
