Chicken Lollipop


Ingredients:-


Chicken Wings / Drumsticks - 10 nos
Garlic paste- 2tbsp
Red Chilli Powder- 1tbsp
Black Pepper Powder-1 tsp
Chilli Sauce-2 tbsp
Soy Sauce-2 tbsp
Ajinomoto -1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves- few

For batter:

Egg-1 no
corn flour-2 tbsp
All purpose flour-1 tbsp
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
salt to taste




Method:-

Wash and clean the chicken drumsticks and chicken wings.Drain the water from the pieces.

Each chicken wings can be made into 2 lollipops,one portion closer to the shoulder and another portion away from the shoulder.

With a paring knife,cut the tendons at the narrow end of each drumsticks.Push the meat down as far as possible without removing the meat completely,to form a round lollipop shape.

If using wings,cut around the thin tip of each chicken wing to loosen the meat around the joint.While holding the base,push the meat down and pull out and toss the smaller bone.Remove any flesh left on the thin end remove the thin bone.

Add chilli powder,red chilli sauce,soy sauce,turmeric powder,ginger/garlic paste,ajinomoto,coriander leaves and salt mix  it well.Leave for 6 to 7 hours for marinate.

 Just before frying,make a batter.In a bowl add all purpose flour,corn flour,red chilli powder,salt and egg mix together.
 
Heat the sufficient oil in a pan until oil is hot, Now dip the marinated chicken wings in the batter and deep fry in hot oil, deep fry in batches,till well cooked and crispy.


 Drain on a kitchen towel and .Rap with aluminum foil .Serve with hot.
