Roomali Roti 1

Hi Friends today i am coming with nice Indian Bread called Roomali roti. This recipe i got from Sanjay Tumma the chef from the vahrehvah blog. This recipe be can be made in two ways.I tried both ways and  it came out very good.Me and my husband like this version. This recipe is very easy and the roti came very soft without ghee or oil.Today i want to share the way to do this.

 Ingredients:-

Wheat flour-1 1/2 cup
Maida-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Water- to knead dough-1 cup
Oil-1 tsp
In cup of water and 2 tsp of salt mix well.

Method:-

Mix wheat flour, madia, salt mix well and add water bit by bit and make a smooth and elastic dough.

Add apply oil to dough and set aside covered with moister cloth or plate for 15 to 20 minutes.

Now make small balls of the dough and roll like a thin chapati using little dry flour with thicker center and thinner edges.

Heat an inverted griddle(tawa).

Now sprinkle the salt water to the tawa.
Place the roti carefully over it and cook till done.
Fold it like a handkerchief.

Serve hot with any vegetable curry.
