Saggu Biyyam Murukku / Sago Murukku / Sabudana Chakli



Indgredients:-

Rice flour-3 cups
Sago/Sgubiyyam-1 cup
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Seasme seeds-1/2 cup
Butter or Ghee-3 to 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep fry
Water- 2 cups



Method:-


Steam cook the saggubiyyam add water for 5 to 6 whistles.When it cool down.


Mix the riceflour,red chilli powder,salt,sesame seeds and heat butter or ghee add to the flour.Now add cooked saggubiyyam to the flour mix well.Make a soft dough.If u need add some water.
Use the murukku press with star nozzle.
Now put the dough in murukku press and squeeze out over a plate or tissupaper in circular shape.
Now heat oi in a kadai,When oil is hot drop the murkku in the medium hot oil n fry on both sides until they turns brown color and crisp transfer to a tissu paper.
