Murukulu(Chakli)


Ingredients :-

Rice Flour-3 cups
Chickpeas/Roasted Chana dal-1 cup(make it powder)First
Red Chilli Powder-2 tbsp(acc to ur taste)
Sesame Seeds-Handful
Ajwan/Vaamu-2tbsp
Salt to taste
Water-to knead
Oil-deep frying

Method :-

First take roasted chana dal put into mixy jar and make fine powder.
Mix rice flour,roasted chnan dal powder,red chillis powder,sesame seeds,ajwan and salt.Now boil the water add to the flour mix it with a spoon.when it cools down make a soft dough.It might be bit sticky,grease ur palms to avoid stickiness.


Use the murukku press with star nozzle.
Now put the dough in muruku press and squeeze out over a plate or tissu paper in circular shape.

Now heat the oil for deepfrying.
When oil is hot drop the murukku in the medium hot oil n fry on both sides until they turns brown.


drian the excess of oil with paper towel..
allow to cool and keep in dry container.
