Egg Drop Soup

Hi Friends today i am coming with my favourite recipe egg drop soup.This one i learned from my mom.

It's fast and nutritious.First you have to make chicken broth. You have leg bones for the broth then it will be even more  nutrious.
If you don't have it you can use the chicken broth available in grocery stores .

Today i  made with simple home made chicken broth.This is easy and fast to make.

Here's the recipe.

Ingredients:-
For Chicken broth
Chicken-4 pieces(Small boneless pieces and with bone pieces)
Cloves-4 nos
Cardamom-4 nos
Water-5 cups

For Soup

Eggs-2 nos(lightly beaten)
Chicken broth-5 cups
Cornstarch-3 tbsp(mix with 3 tbsp of water)
pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Ajinomoto-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste



Method:-
Chicken broth

First wash the chicken pieces.


In a large saucepan .Now pour 5 cups of water.Add chicken pieces,cloves,cardamoms and little salt.
Heat and  bring to a boil for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is cooked.

Afer 25 minutes swichoff the stove and now remove the chicken pieces and whole spices in to broth.
Now one chicken piece take make it small pieces.keep it aside.

How to make soup:-

Place the chicken broth pan heat it and now add  to 3 cups water,chicken pieces,ajinomoto,salt in a pan and bring to it boil.

Now take the cornstrarch mix with 3 tbsp water until smooth.
Slowly pour in the cornstarch mixture while stirring the broth, until thickened.Reduce heat a simmer.

Now slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup.The egg will spread out into ribbons.let it boil for 5 mintues.

Now turn off the heat.Season with pepper powder.

Serve it hot.
